Matt Sampson is the photographer & videographer behind Tamarindo Films. He has been a photographer for over a decade and has produced hundreds of video productions for a variety of groups.

“I love creating feeling and essence in my photography. Whether that be a view, a location, a connection or an emotion, it’s all about capturing that moment and everything it feels like and then turning it into a beautiful collection of images and memories.”

Matt shoots in both Tamarindo, Costa Rica and Arvada, Colorado. He and his family have been splitting time between Colorado and Costa Rica for the past 7 years and both locations provide stunning backdrops for photography.

PRICING

Prices vary on the type of job and the location. Family photos start at $150 and go up from there depending on how many different locations and types of photos are desired.

Senior Photos start at $150 and go up from there based on the number of locations and the number of outfits.

Real Estate photography starts at $300 and goes up from there based on the number of rooms, the length of time for the shoots and editing complexity.

Videography projects start at $300 and are completely customized based on the entire project scope, locations, equipment, timing and editing needs.

Drone/Aerial productions start at $400 and vary based on length of the film, the number of locations & days of shooting and the editing/post production needs.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Matt uses top of the line equipment including Canon cameras and lenses for photography shoots and Panasonic 4k cameras for videography shoots. Drone productions are filmed with top of the line GoPro cameras and drones designed specifically for filmmaking and production. Depending on the depth of the video projects we also utilize professional sliders and steady cam technology for smooth, dynamic and dimensional shots. The results are stunning.

Once a photo shoot is completed, Matt processes each and every photo with custom precision and within a few days delivers electronic copies in a variety of formats directly to you. He will work with you before the shoot to get an idea of what you hope to capture and will be your guide during the shoot to make sure your vision is realized.
